About Dr. Tod Fish

An alumnus of the University of Kansas in Lawrence, Dr. Tod Fish earned his doctor of musical arts with a concentration in choral conducting. He graduated with a near perfect 3.99 grade point average after delivering a doctorial thesis on the collaborations between Benjamin Britten and WH Auden. Over the course of his career in choral conducting and choral program direction, Dr. Tod Fish has worked with multiple church organizations and institutions of learning.

For the past 7 years, Dr. Fish has served as an associate director of choral activities at Stephen F Austin State University (SFASU) in Nacogdoches, Texas. His accomplishments at SFASU include chairing the music education advisory committee and securing an Outstanding Field Supervisor Award nomination from Partners in Education Preparation.

In addition to working with students directly, Dr. Tod Fish has delivered multiple presentations to inform his fellow educators. He also coauthored the article “Making the Right Decision,” which appeared in the May 2014 issue of Southwestern Musician.
